Choose one audience and one complete workflow before estimating features.

Include access control, error recovery and handover in the initial scope.

Discuss cost drivers and acceptance criteria before agreeing a price.

What should an MVP actually prove?

Write one sentence: this product helps this person complete this task in this situation. Then decide what observation would justify another iteration. For a proposal tool, that might be whether a freelancer can prepare and share a proposal that a prospect can read. It is not a promise that the tool will increase sales.

  • Audience: independent consultants sending project proposals.
  • Task: prepare a scope, share it and collect a response.
  • Observation: can a trial user finish that workflow without help?
  • Decision: what feedback would cause you to change or stop the idea?

Choose a complete workflow instead of a large feature list

Describe the steps from the first useful input to the final useful output. Include empty states, invalid input, interrupted connections and the next action after completion. A narrow workflow that works end to end gives you something meaningful to test; five disconnected dashboard screens do not.

  • Required: create a project, edit its scope and share a read-only link.
  • Conditional: account roles, document exports or payment records if the workflow needs them.
  • Later: advanced analytics, multiple workspaces, integrations and customization.

What belongs in the development agreement?

Separate features, operating costs and ownership. List what the developer will deliver, what you must provide and how both sides will check completion. A subscription API, cloud database, domain and email service can each have ongoing costs. These should be visible before a quotation is accepted.

  • Screens and workflows, with examples of a successful result.
  • Who owns source code, accounts, hosting and project data.
  • Third-party services, usage limits and credentials required from you.
  • Supported devices, accessibility checks and data access rules.
  • Deployment, backups, documentation, handover and any support period.
  • Changes that require a new estimate and the process for approving them.

A useful sample brief

I want to help independent consultants send a clear proposal and receive a scope decision. A consultant should create a project, edit a scope, share a private link and see whether a prospect accepts or requests changes. The first version does not need automated charging, a template marketplace or a mobile application. I can supply example proposals and recruit trial users. Please quote the initial workflow, deployment and handover separately from optional integrations.

How real projects help you choose a developer

Use a project record to inspect what was built, which technologies are listed and whether an interface or public link is available. PitchFlo is listed in Hamza Work's portfolio as an interactive proposal and client intelligence platform. The project page describes proposal sharing and engagement features. That demonstrates a product direction; it does not establish customer numbers, revenue or a result for your future business.

What to send Hamza

Share your user, the task, a sample input and output, the features you consider essential, your constraints and a target timeline. You work directly with Hamza to discuss scope. A quote depends on the agreed workflow and integrations. When online intake is unavailable, the contact page provides the existing email and WhatsApp channels.

Separate the first useful version from later investment

  • Decision: Users. Initial MVP: One clearly defined audience. Later, if validated: Additional markets and account types
  • Decision: Workflow. Initial MVP: One complete job with recovery states. Later, if validated: More workflows and automation
  • Decision: Payments. Initial MVP: Only if needed to test the offer, through an approved provider. Later, if validated: Additional billing models and reporting
  • Decision: Evidence. Initial MVP: Observed task completion and useful feedback. Later, if validated: Broader usage and business outcomes

Can I get an MVP price before providing a scope?

An initial discussion can identify likely cost drivers. A useful fixed quotation needs an agreed workflow, deliverables, exclusions and acceptance criteria. No universal development price is promised here.

Do I need AI in my first version?

Only if it is necessary for the task you want to test. Deterministic workflows are often easier to explain, verify and operate. AI integrations add evaluation, usage costs and failure-handling requirements.
